Indus Community Services is an accredited, government funded community organization that has served communities for over 33 years. Indus specializes in providing newcomer services which range from citizenship to filing Government of Canada IMM forms.
During my 16 week term working at Indus as a Data Entry Specialist, I mostly worked on data management projects. My goal behind each project was to provide the organization with a neat and organized spread of the data they collected. Often this data was used in creating the end-of-year financial report. Since Indus is a government-funded organization, yearly financial reports need to be publicly available demonstrating where the organization's money is being spend and it's total impact on the community. To the right, is an excerpt from the latest yearly report.
